One Way Strength Forum

We are going to host a meet in February.

The format will be one catering to Master's competitors and those for whom the mobility requirements of many events tend to dissuade them from conventional strength athletics. Strength, not strength-endurance or timing-related things will be emphasized, but not a powerlifting meet to be sure. Here are the details:

Have been working on the 2010 season for Illinois. Pretty much the same format as 09 in terms of the contests (January Challenge, March Challenge, May Challenge, ILSM, September Challenge and Illinois Hercules). Same format for the records and earning points towards the series, etc...

Is this still happening? its only a few months away. It's not on the NAS site but its on the entriy forms list here. It looks like a BADASS show. Very good choice of events.

Is it true that the date is going to change? I need to know soon because im coming from Maryland to compete in this and i dont wanna come on the wrong day because that would just absolutely suck balls. and are the events changing?

whos looking at doing the september contest?

The fair Board is 90% sure they will be able to offer at least $200.00 to the top spot from each wt class (200, 231, 265, 266+).

As of right now we have "0" signed up however i most likely will limit the number of athletes for each wt class to 10 (40 total).

I'll add more info as ot comes in.
