why do declines? It seems the oposite of what we need to do in competition

It's the only kind of chest exercise that doesn't kill my shoulder that I hurt haha. Military doesnt bother me, but flat bench and incline kill me.

ACTUALLY- I'm still going twice a week and I'm LOVING it haha. I took almost a week off after the competition saturday b/c that contest killed the rhomboid I pulled. It finally started feeling good yesterday after a few "special" sessions with my chiropractor. So I decided to train tonight and hit a few pr's. I'm also going to start DC training since I've been busy lately.
