9/30/09

Time: 12Mid thru 1am = 60 minutes

Sh. Press:
5 x 15/45, 7/95, 7/160, 6/160, 4/160

Bent over Rows:
5 x 10/135, 5/225, 5/225, 5/225, 5/225

Log Curls:
3 x 5/85, 5/95, 5/105

Push Press:
3 x 3/135, 5/185, 2/205

Sh. Prehab: 4 sets

Notes:
Felt good for more with 1st set of 160 sh presses. Second and 3rd sets with 160 found my arms kapoot for some reason. Same happened with push presses. No surprise, it feels that way when I miss a session. Didn't schedule any training on the second half of last week so I would have time getting stuff together for the September Challenge.
On the bright side, my right wrist feels much better. Didn't ache much at all. Surprising since I jakked it all up drilling some holes on the yoke/ farmers combo we have, haha.

9/30/09

Time: 11:55pm theu 12:55am = 60 minutes

Front Squat:
8 x 3/135, 3/185, 3/225, 5 x 3/245

Speed Deadlifts:
8 x 3/135, 3/225, 6 x 3/315

Atlas Lift
2 x 1/225, 1/225

COC Grippers: 3 sets each hand.

Ab Roller: 10/bwt

Notes:
This was a scheduled light session. Was surprised on just how light it felt.
Wore boots (ala "The Dream" haha) on Speed deadlifts for a slight deficit lift. Double overhand/ no straps, no belt.
Pop..pop..pop. Felt solid.
1st set of stone lift felt awkard however the second set was fast.

Didn't train the last couple days. My whole schedule has been screwy. Friday I had to fast for quite some time. We're trying to upgrade our life insurance policies and we needed to give a blood and pee-pee sample.
The nurse took the first blood sample no problem. The second one she needed from me became a challenge. She couldn't get any more. hahaha. I told her it was because I hadn't eaten, the blood she took was all I had, haha. She didn't believe me and proceeded to dig, and dig, and dig into my arm. Man was that pleasant. But no luck. She then poked me in the back of my hand. AAAArgh, that freakin hurt when she pulled the needle out.
How in the world can addicts inject themselves all the time. That crap sucks.
Had to go to bed 5 hours before I usaully do so I could get up early enough to go to Morton, IL for Dr. Rob's meet. Slept like crappola.
The meet went great. Had a wonderful time. Afterwards we decided to visit my brother-in-law and sister-in-law in LeeeeeRooooy, IL.
Spent the rest of the afternoon/ evening there. Didn't get home till rather late.

Cool, thanks Brad. Looking forward to having you out for the IL Hercules.
Are you planning on doing the teen or 200 open?

Training:
Trained last night but felt achy, especially the right arm from the shoulder down. Fairly cool and windy.
Still have a pretty bruise from being stabbed last Friday for the Life Ins. The boo-boo is about 5" x 2 1/2" around the right elbow/ fore-arm.
Ouchy, hahaha.
Worked rather late tonight. Didn't train.

Haven't gotten the mail yet, Brad.

This week has been fairly screwy with work. Just haven't had much "oomph" to train.
A lot of funky crap has been going on at work.
Have been trying to get the 2010 season together however it's a challenge when I won't know for sure till Febuary about the ILSM and September Challenge.
There are two to three different formats I'm working with. All depends on the "new gym" price (been playing phone tag).

The wife and I went to dinner with some very good friends of ours tonight to a place called "Buca's" in Orland Park.
Pretty darn good food. I am still stuffed and it's it's been 4 hours since we ate. hahaha
I ordered their lasagna that serves 6 to 8 people (according to the waitress). Ate about 3/4 of it along with a salad and some ribs, chicken, and another pasta dish. cheers

Needless to say...no training tonight. Most likely would load my drawers or shoot dinner across the shed.
