Dave- my blackberry did not sync with work anymore. We are only allowed to use Palms which suck ass. My email is brianwalsh65@yahoo.com.

I am now 241.8 right now after I got done with some manscaping haha. I am in a better mood now than last night. I still think that it is bullshit, but I want to sweat out this weight as fast as possible and just sit here til 6. My scale is almost 3 lbs heavier than Pete's so technically I needto get to 234 before weigh ins. My goal is 232 just to be safe though. Now off to sweat.

An hour ago when I was weighing 240 I started blacking out and getting bad cramps, so I decided to stop this madness and not compete. It really is not worth risking my life for a contest. Plus strongman is supposed to be fun. Now of to enjoy my life this weekend, and stop worrying about training. I am definately done as a light weight and will just start competing at whatever weight I am at.

Good call. If you're going to be 260, be 260. It sucks because you had a real chance at this one, but you're better off.

I wouldn't drink much tonight though... save that for tomorrow.

My training has been going well and would have done well but not as a light weight haha. I am now rehydrated and feel great. Still have a terrible headache and my muscles feel like I ran a marathon, but nothing a few beers won't cure. I can't wait to watch this show tomorrow. Pete has done an amazing job organizing it and there are a bunch of studs. My pick is Jason Nunn winning it with Kelly and Bodi placing. Nunn is just a freak athlete and this is an athletic show not a heavy show.

The weighins were a complete mess. I never heard when they were period and had to ask at the hotel (who told me 4). Finally, I saw a near-death bigger guy and figured he was competing too. Sorry you didn't get to compete.

You were right : that circus DB was a nightmare. If it's even remotely tipped at lockout it falls because of the huge diameter of the handle.

Keep training hard and dominate at 265.

Since Summerfest I really lost my motivation and barely worked out, but had a great time drinking and eating and being a normal person. Got it back so now I am back to work. Rugby practice starts in 2 weeks and our first match is in a month. I need to get fit again which should take a couple weeks.

Deadlift
3x245,335,425,515 no belt
1x565 with belt- have not done these in a while so form felt so shitty. Strength is great though just terrible form so stopped

Lunges
4x8x135

Reverse Hypers
4x12x50

Rope Crunches
3x15x200

Felt good to get back at it.

I really have no clue. Rugby starts soon and that will be my focus until November. I want to be more athletic than I am now. The only show I might compete in this year would be the IL Championship just because it would be fun to see if I could win the hw. After that it depends on where the shows are. I want to start doing shows in places I would like to visit anyways. If the timing works out with shows in FL,CA,HI, or places like that then I will go. I love training so for now I will train for me.

Yesterday went on a 3 hour walk along the lakefront with the mrs. It was good for recovery and also got me some bonus points.
