I think you could get away with drinking less than 3 gallons on those days, but there's no harm in drinking that much. The amount of trips to go pee is going to be the hard part, not drinking it all. Hard to do any work when you're peeing every ten minutes.

You don't cut carbs on wednesday? I always found that cutting carbs is the most helpful step in the process.

I have not had carbs in over 3 weeks and the first time I will have carbs is Thurs at 4 which is my last meal before weigh ins. When it is that close the macro nutrients don't mean a thing it is about actual weight so I want to eat the most caloricly dense food possible rich in nutruents which for me is pb. Peeing so often actually got me a nice ticket today. I was in my car and had to piss so I got clocked going 82 in a 65 and slapped with a 240 ticket. Damn water load and cut haha.

3 gallons of water again today. Haven't taken a shit in 3 days now and this is the worst time ever to be constipated. Now I have to either let it come out on its own or take some laxtives. I really don't want to take that though because when you start taking laxatives and diuretics is when cuts get dangerous.

Just officiall started my cut. Just weighed in at 257 fully floated and full with peanut butter and bread. Will relax for an hour or so then start the sauna process at 11. Will give updates as the day goes on.

So I am on my 10 min break after the first hour and my weight is down to 251.4. I am weighing in every hour to help track it for my own purposes as well as so people get an idea what I am doing. Basically it is easy right now, but I still have 22 hours left haha. I am hoping to be down to 235 before bed that way I can sleep in a bit.

So the weight loss has slowed considerably and will most likely be slow from here on out. After 3 hours of cutting I am 248 so down 9 pounds. Starting to suck ass.

I don't envy you. I've cut 11 pounds without so much as a headache, but 27 is another ballgame entirely. Hopefully you can just keep peeing strong and lose a pound or so per piss.

It might not hurt to consider some weaker OTC diuretics to help. There's nothing too dangerous about those.

So I am at 244 right now and just got done with an hour break. It just got really draining emotionally being hot, sweaty, and thirsty all day. Started to lose focus and think about just saying to hell with it, but my mom called at just the right time and got my head on straight. Now time to get back at it and start sweating for the next 5 hours and see where I'm at before bed. All I have to keep telling myself is tomorrow morning at 10:05 this will all be over if I do it right.

That would be awesome if you were allowed to weigh in that early. I think that extra time would make a huge difference in the refeed and just recovering in general. I imagine you'll have a terrible headache and be weak as hell. Having a full day to recover will be huge.

Well weigh ins got changed to 6 pm tomorrow. Dione first told pete it was ok to have it at 10 and he sent out emails to everyone. Then she talked to Willie and got the rules straight and told Pete it had to be at 6 and he sent out emails. I did not get mine and luckily Mal called Pete to get Tiff's number because he told her about it half an hour ago. Basically Dione fucked up not knowing her own bullshit rules and then won't change her mind. I called her and explained that I start water cutting 24 hours out and when I think weigh ins are at 10 I cut earlier therefore I am going to be completely dehydrated and hungry for another 8 hours tomorrow. I am so pissed and so tempted to say fuck it. If you are going to run a national organization you should know your rules before emails get sent out. As of right now I am 244 and just going to see what I weigh tomorrow morning just not eating or drinking anything. If it will be easy and I don't feel like I am gonna die I will compete if not I will eat and drink. I hate stupid people.

They had been saying 4 or 5 all along, hadn't they? 6 is a bit extreme.

That really sucks.

Pete should just blow them off and tell the competitors he'll honor the stated 10am time because everyone was led to believe that was OK. What're they going to do to him?

Oooooo, somebody is a little grumpy.
Not sure if the policy had changed (I haven't heard any different) however I believe the official early weigh-ins can be no more than 24 hours prior the meet. So as an example, our meets usaully start at 1pm, then early weigh-ins would be that Friday starting at 1pm to ...?

That's how I always understood it. To be honest, it seems like this one is on Pete. Still, once the cut starts, it's a bit cruel to force someone in that state to sit around for 8 hours. That can't possibly be good for his performance.

Pete checked with Dione about 10 am weigh ins and she ok'd it before the email got sent out. It is definately not Pete's fault. I am not arguing with the rules I am saying if Dione oks a weigh in time she should not be allowed to change it because it scews people like me.

Well shit.

Get some protein in you tonight, the extra time should allow you to take in some food without worrying about missing it, plus you don't want to be fasting that long. As long as there's no carbs it shouldn't make much difference anyway. A bunch of whey and a bit of water won't take up much space anyway.

Hope you're not suffering too much at this point. Keep us posted.

BTW I emailed your blackberry address a few weeks ago and it bounced, do you have a different address now?
