I planned on doing this, but sadly do to health issues beyond my control I won't be. I may be down to watch though.

I think I'm in on this. I step back into the gym for the first time since Dallas on Monday and if I feel good I will be there. Great events. Will be a great show for manteno.

I'll be sending my entry this week. I've dropped about 20 lbs in the past few weeks.This will be a good test to see if I can do strongman and have a vegetarian diet.

Got word late this week that the set up for the Family tent at the festival will be different than the last couple of years. The Family tent will be facing the park across the street. This will leave us room for one lane to do our events. Instead of doing doubles we'll most likely do one at a time.

Equipment notes for the contest.
LOG:
I have re-fabricated our 12" log. Opened the ends and shortened it a couple of inches each side. Reduced the starting wt to 155 (from 190). This will be better for warm-ups and first timers (plus hauling the beast to contests, hahaha).
I also used a special paint that has a "grit" to it. Log doesn't slide down the chest as easily as it did before.

ARM OVER ARM
Angel Wind Power will be providing a vehicle for the arm over arm pull. It's very similar to the one they had at the ILSM this year.
It's heavier than our F-150. The course will be up a slight incline.
