The 2009 Chicago's Strongest Man is set for Saturday, April 18th. Same venue and same events, with the only change being a tire flip instead of a deadlift. The teen division is not there this year, but there are 60 spots instead of 50. You can either mail in entry form, or use the on-line registration at www.beaverstrengthandcombat.com that will be up in the next couple of weeks. The event usually fills up by the January, so get it in soon and hope to see you there!

Right now there are a couple of glitches with the online registration that my tech guy is taking care of. Anyone registering on line right now, try again in a few days. Remember, you can send it via regular mail as well if you choose to. It's your call how to send it. I believe for the most part, the online registration will make things easier for both the competitor and the promotor. We'll see in time how it works out.

Tony- The on-line registartion has worked out pretty well so far. Most people have used it, but some still prefer to send it in. I'm fine with it either way, but the on-line is quicker for both parties. The credit card or check can be used with a paypal account. Let me know if you want more information on it.

2008 sucked monkey balls.
tweaking my back again doing light log cleans has me thinking about which contests I should and shouldn't do. I love training. I like competing. I never want to have to stop both.
