I have been trying to eat healthier. I have had a difficult time with a few weigh ins during the past. This past six months, I have eaten a high protein diet and have been happy with the fat loss but have felt like shit. Weigh ins have been no problem. I weighed 197 at Chicago. Looking at pictures of CSM, I think I lost some lean mass in the process.

I have eaten some pasta, etc. the past few days. Man, can I tell a difference. My mood is actually different.

I am going to try ...

I am a big believer in supplements. I am always taking something or trying something new. Here are some that I tried in 08 and my thoughts on them:

-ZMA: I have been taking this for about 8-9 years now. If I cut my myself down to one supplement, this is it! Its supposed to increase testosterone, but I take it for the added recovery. I am currently taking NOW brand.

-Gaspari Nutrition Halodrol liquigels: I thought they had outlawed all prohormones on '05, but in '08, i discovered they ...

normally I don't eat enough fruits and vegetables. Lately I have felt the effects. I found a product at Vitamin Shoppe that is the equivalent of 9 servings in a shake. It is ground beets, brocoli, cauliflower, peas, and a lot of other things. I feel a lot better. it mixes with fruit juice pretty easy. Tastes and smells pretty bad. but oh well. Less than 50 cents a serving

My diet is crap. I need to drop fat and maintain muscle.I've hardly ever done cardio and don't really know where to start in that area. I'm 312 and 6'2 right now.I'm not concerned about weight because it doesn't matter to me what wt. class I compete in. The most I know about a strongmans diet is eating 1 grm protein for 1 pound body weight. What about carbs and fat? If anyone can help me with any of this it would greatly be appreciated.

Heavier weights = weighing more?

I've noticed that as I've pushed myself to lift heavier my bodyweight is also going up. I haven't made any significant diet changes. I used to weigh 200 in the mornings just a few weeks ago. Now I'm often getting on at 205 or more and often pushing 210 at night. I feel like if I keep it up I won't be able to call myself a 200 lber any more. I certainly have no desire to cut weight after years of wrestling. Is it possible that at almost 35 years old I'm able to put muscle on fast enough ...
